"I practice Chinese Acupuncture and Herbology not only to treat a variety of physical symptoms but also as a preventative to many common conditions and ailments. I bring to my practice extensive knowledge of the body gained from my training as a physician and Ob/Gyn in China, and through my 18 years as an practicing acupuncturist. At our clinic we work holistically in both our diagnosis (TCM) and treatment. We believe that pain and disease both manifest from imbalances in Qi, which is the fundamental energy flowing through us. An imbalance in Qi can cause many problems throughout the body."

"If you are tired of health problems you can't get rid of with conventional medicine, such as Chronic Headaches, Low back Pain, Arthritis, Allergies, Insomnia, etc...? You may have found an answer with Acupuncture. Typically 4 to 12 hair-like thin needles are placed on selected Acupoints along the channels running throughout one's body to open up and remove blockages. And then the flow of Qi & Blood get restored in balance to reduce pain or relieve symptoms. Many of my patients experience changes from the first treatment. Check Testimonials from my patients on my website www.BioAcupuncture.com"

"Are you looking to try Acupuncture? Acupuncture is a safe, natural and effective way to achieve and maintain balance, health and wellness. It has remained the essence of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for over 3,000 years. Acupuncture balances the body and mind and stimulates its natural self-healing abilities by treating the root of the problem. When imbalances or blockages occur, symptoms such as pain, fatigue, emotional issues and disease etc. will manifest. Significant modern research documents the many beneficial influences Acupuncture has on the energetic, immune, hormonal, circulatory and neurological systems of the body without any of the side effects of Western drugs"

"I practice acupuncture according to the person's constitution. In other words, two people may come with similar problems but I treat them differently because their underlying cause may be different. My acupuncture style not only treats the chief complaint, but also is excellent in regulating all the minor problems that the patients suffer from. My special areas are pain management; from headaches to heel spur, anxiety& depression, and feminine disorders. I also use herbal medicine to enhance the treatment. Herbal treatment does not give the side effects like western medicine does, and it is very powerful."

Acupuncture in 10004 - is it right for me?
Acupuncture is based on the concepts of oriental medicine or traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and is one of the oldest healing practices in the world. 10004 acupuncturists are health care professionals who evaluate and treat the many conditions, aches and pains that respond to acupuncture.

Acupuncturists insert very fine acupuncture needles into the body. The purpose of the needles is to stimulate acupuncture points or meridians. The needles do not inject any substance into your body and are so fine as to be virtually impossible to feel. In some cases, acupuncture may be accompanied by electrical stimulation or the burning of moxa, a form of heat therapy. Or use acupressure, where physical pressure is applied by hand or elbow to trigger points with the aim of clearing blockages in these meridians.

'Accupuncture' and 'Accupuncturist' are common mis-spellings.
Credentials for 10004 licensed acupuncturists?
A licensed acupuncturist in 10004 needs a minimum of two years college education and must complete three years of professional training and pass the State's approved licensing examination. The three year program includes both theory and hands-on clinical practice. Most States' professional training programs are accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM) and by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
