About
Our mission at Oriental Soothing Acupuncture is to provide our patients with personalized care to prevent, alleviate, and heal a wide range of ailments. We do that through Acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine, which are powerful, effective, and safe methods for achieving holistic health and well-being.
Dr. Liu is an expert of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) who has been practicing holistic Medicine for over 34 years. She graduated from Guangzhou University of TCM and obtained her MD in TCM in 1988. She was a Physician in Guangxi International Zhuang Medical Hospital, Guangxi University of TCM for 14 years. She also practiced Acupuncture in Japan.
After moving to the United States, she served as a Researcher in Endocrine Unit, Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School for 7 years. She then worked at the New York Injury and Rehabilitation Center for half a year and opened her own Acupuncture practice in Manhattan, New York in 2013.
