Using Kiiko Matsumoto Style Japanese Acupuncture and Japanese Meridian Therapy, I will work to bring you into a full recovery as efficiently and effectively as possible. This style of acupuncture utilizes a highly systematic method of palpation to gain diagnostic information thru touch. Using thinner needles, extremely gentle needle techniques and moxa, close attention is paid to precise location of acupuncture points and patient feedback is critical in guiding the treatment. Sessions will not be rushed and every effort will be made to assure you feel comfortable. I treat one patient at a time. Sessions are 90 minutes +.
Acupuncture has proven effective in treating a variety of conditions from helping to relieve painful knees, back and shoulders. Also relieving pain associated with periods, reducing menopausal symptoms. I regularly help patients with digestive problems, allergies, anxiety and stress.
I graduated the Classical Acupuncture Program of Jeffrey Yuen at the Swedish Institute in New York City in 2005 and have been a licensed acupuncturist since 2006. I am also a licensed massage therapist since 1977. I have an advanced certification in Japanese Meridian Therapy and in Kiiko Matsumoto Style. I am in private practice in NYC and love what I do!
