Welcome, I am so glad you're here! I am a Registered Dietitian located in New Jersey. I specialize in providing nutrition counseling for individuals who have eating disorders and disordered eating. I am also thrilled to work with those who might not fall into the previous categories but are looking for a better way to explore nutrition, their health and find a way of eating and living that is individualized and feels best for them. I provide primarily virtual services at this time. I am an anti- diet dietitian! This means I don’t prescribe diets unless you have a medical condition that requires specific medical nutrition therapy.

My approach to health and well being is to treat the whole person and not just the symptom. This philosophy of treatment goes back thousands of years in Eastern Medicine. The goal to overall health and well being is to balance our stressful professional careers, our personal lives and our body's basic and essential nutritional requirements, all of which can be difficult to manage. Kristen gained her experience with working with clients who have eating disorders while at the Medical Center at Princeton with the inpatient and partial programs, treating children, adolescents, and adults. Kristen provides individual nutrition therapy, family nutrition counseling sessions, as well as coordinated care with other treatment team members. Nutritional therapy is an essential part of recovery from an eating disorder.

At VidaEats, we specialize in getting to know your specific needs and working with them to help prevent or delay kidney failure. Our goal is to reduce the amount of people who end up on renal replacement therapy (dialysis). If you are on dialysis, we can provide nutrition care in step with your in-center dietitian to help you feel more energized and improve your lab parameters.

Joanna Jodar is a board certified Acupuncturist and Herbalist. She is accredited by the National Certification Commission of Oriental Medicine. In addition, she is also an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist and certified in Facial Rejuvenation. Her clinical experience includes working at various hospitals in New York such as St. Vincent's Hospital, Hospital for Joint Diseases and Lincoln Hospital. She has also completed clinical rotations in numerous hospitals in Beijing, China.
