Some conditions I have successful treated include: Migraines, Neck Pain, Anxiety, Infertility, Vertigo, Gastrointestinal issues, Insomnia, Erectile Dysfunction, Fatigue, Depression, Low Back Pain, Sciatica, High Blood Pressure, and a whole lot more!

There are two broad areas I treat: 1. Pain - all kinds but especially successful with backs and shoulders. I have studied and use some non-needle pain relieving techniques like NST and Kaufman Technique. 2. Imbalances - I treat through nutrition and herbs various imbalances in the patient - blood sugar syndromes, adrenal weaknesses, thyroid problems, liver issues, digestive disorders, etc.

My ideal client struggles with pollen, food or environmental allergies/sensitivities. They are limited in their ability to enjoy the out of doors or have trouble eating certain foods. I also work with illnesses that are hard to figure out. I work with lots of Lyme Disease sufferers. Treating Lyme often takes a variety of approaches and NeuroModulation Technique helps the body eliminate infection. I help people get to hike, run, garden or just play and relax breathing free, eating with pleasure and be more energetic and clear headed overall. Rather than dangerous, the world is open and welcoming. Call for a free consultation.

All people are on their own healing path, seeking health and wellness when it is appropriate for them. I enjoy working with a variety of people: avid healthy energetic types who know the benefits of alternative medicine, to those who are skeptical, uncertain and feeling they have no other options. I enjoy sharing and teaching people a new model of health & wellness. Healing isn't about fixing the symptom with a band-aid. Healing involves reducing pain and discomfort, addressing the cause, then assisting the mind/body/spirit accordingly. All aspects are addressed.

Acupuncture in Aumsville - is it right for me?
Acupuncture is based on the concepts of oriental medicine or traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and is one of the oldest healing practices in the world. Aumsville acupuncturists are health care professionals who evaluate and treat the many conditions, aches and pains that respond to acupuncture.

Acupuncturists insert very fine acupuncture needles into the body. The purpose of the needles is to stimulate acupuncture points or meridians. The needles do not inject any substance into your body and are so fine as to be virtually impossible to feel. In some cases, acupuncture may be accompanied by electrical stimulation or the burning of moxa, a form of heat therapy. Or use acupressure, where physical pressure is applied by hand or elbow to trigger points with the aim of clearing blockages in these meridians.

'Accupuncture' and 'Accupuncturist' are common mis-spellings.
Credentials for Aumsville licensed acupuncturists?
A licensed acupuncturist in Aumsville needs a minimum of two years college education and must complete three years of professional training and pass the State's approved licensing examination. The three year program includes both theory and hands-on clinical practice. Most States' professional training programs are accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM) and by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
