Acupuncture is a great healing tool because I can treat a wide variety of conditions with minimal risks or side effects. The main "side effect" is feeling relaxed and at ease. I practice Traditional Chinese Medicine, which incorporates both Western and Eastern medical concepts. I also use other modalities such as cupping, moxibustion, sotai, therapeutic stretch, and lifestyle counseling to develop a custom treatment plan for my patients. We are all unique and need different methods of treatment to heal properly.
I pride myself on spending ample time with each patient. I believe part of the healing process is feeling heard. I strive to be both approachable and caring. My patients tell me I am a good listener and they feel comfortable confiding in me. I believe this is one of the most important qualities a healthcare provider can have.
