While I see a diversity of patients, I most commonly help people with digestive issues, hormonal changes, mood and neurotransmitter imbalances, and immune problems, including autoimmunity.

As a California-licensed primary care naturopathic doctor, my primary goal is to partner with you to prevent illness, but if a "dis-ease" is present, to utilize the most natural, non-toxic, and least invasive therapies first. Another critical priority is finding the underlying cause(s) of illness, not merely treating symptoms, therefore, I use hundreds of diagnostic and functional medical labs to help diagnose. I was born and raised in Auburn, California and am a 1996 graduate of Bastyr University, the leading naturopathic medical school in North America. Growing up with my dad as a local doctor inspired me to pursue medicine myself. Personal illness with questions left unanswered by western medicine led me in the direction of naturopathic medicine. I am passionate about helping people find their optimal health. I fill up my free time with my husband and 2 beautiful daughters. Together we enjoy rock-climbing, horse back riding, surfing, gardening and just being together.

I use a functional medicine, patient centered approach that incorporates each person's unique biochemical makeup, medical history, and personal health objectives, in order to empower the patient and treat the whole person rather than just the symptoms.
