Integrating heart and science into every session, I believe that bodywork, often pursued in relief of pain, can also improve our relationship with our bodies and deepen our experience in the world around us. I bring an awareness of the educational, experiential process of receiving bodywork, making lasting change through awareness and embodiment, in addition to very effective technique. Originally from New York, I trained at The Swedish Institute in New York City (a 1226-hour program) and at IPSB in San Diego.

I've had a Manual Therapy healing practice for 35 years. I consistently observe that the path to healing arises from a deep listening & from attaining balance & flow between the physical, emotional & spiritual aspects of our being. My interest in Holistic Health Care began when I put myself through University & Graduate school working as a Massage Therapist. At that same time, from an inspired vision, I designed, developed, & taught a program on Therapeutic Touch for the elderly at the Desert Institute for the Healing Arts. I hold MA Certification in Gerontology, BA in French Literature & Dance, & BA in Interdisciplinary Studies: Pre Med, Life Sciences & Humanities.

Simonetta is a State Certified and Licensed Massage Therapist who has been in practice since 1988. She is trained in multiple techniques that include deep tissue, swedish, pregnancy, reflexology and sports massage. She specializes in therapeutic deep tissue and shiatsu-anma which are combined in her sessions. Her extensive work in rehabilitation therapy has given her the experience to help with specific conditions and heal chronic pain such as sciatica, tennis elbow and tendonitis. Simonetta was on staff at the Sports Club /LA in West Los Angeles for 20 years and has extensive experience with many doctors and chiropractors.
