Acute/chronic pain of all kinds -whether from injuries related to motor vehicle/on-the-job accidents, sprains/strains, overuse, migraines, arthritis or other diseases -- these all respond very well to the acupuncture/acupressure techniques I use. I've also had great results treating many other conditions including respiratory issues (sinusitis/coughs/asthma/allergies), digestive issues (GERD/IBS/constipation/diarrhea/nausea), urinary issues (UTI/overactive bladder), and stress-related disorders (anxiety/depression/insomnia/panic attacks). I also have advanced training in treating women's health issues (see below for more info).
Having entered this field as a result of experiencing its highly effective methods of treating gynecologic problems, I have a special interest in and desire to help women suffering from issues such as PMS, painful/irregular menstruation, PCOS, infertility, chronic yeast infection, morning sickness or other pregnancy-related discomfort, &menopause.
I frequently combine techniques such as acupressure, Zen Shiatsu massage, Taoist breathing techniques and Qi Gong with acupuncture treatment to create a treatment plan tailored to your individual needs. I believe my role as a practitioner is to assist you in maximizing your own innate healing ability.
