Dr. Lu was one of the few acupuncturists in the United States who was not only a MD in China, but also had an additional 6 years specialty training with highest medical degree. Dr. Lu earned his doctoral degree in internal medicine from the Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in China. He also holds bachelor and master degrees in orthopedics and traumatology and worked as orthopedic surgeon and acupuncturist in China. Currently, Dr. Lu is the Chair of AOM at the doctoral studies at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine and clinical assistant professor at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU)
