They know there is more work to do however, they are possibly not being heard by their current healthcare providers or not at their optimal state of health that they know they can feel or once felt.

I have a Masters of Science at Columbia University in Diabetes Education and Management and offer a non-diet, weight inclusive approach to this population. I always review your food likes/dislikes, make necessary changes paying attention to your food likes. I use visuals and measures to bring points home and clear, you don't have to take notes, I do give handouts which you might never have to read because my points are always clear.
