My educational approach allows patients to obtain sound nutrition advice while focusing on individual needs and concerns. I provide a supportive therapeutic atmosphere to help implement healthy lifestyle choices. I work with individuals and families who wish to optimize physical energy, increase mental clarity, strengthen immunity, reduce cravings, improve digestion and fat burning, overcome mood swings, eliminate anxiety over food and body issues. I am interested in the preventive side of healthcare, and truly believe food can be medicine. I personally follow a pescetarian, but mostly plant-based diet, and am a huge proponent of any type of movement. I started my career in clinical nutrition with a weight loss of over 70 lbs. Since then, I have obtained my graduate degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University and am currently on the board of directors of the National Lipid Association and the Clinical Nutrition Coordinator at the NYU School of Medicine. My sub-specialty is weight management (loss/gain) and heart health (cholesterol, blood pressure, familial hypercholesterolemia, diabetes and pre-diabetes, and metabolic syndrome).

I am a registered dietitian based in New York City who specializes in disordered eating and eating disorder treatment as well as other nutrition-related issues, like diabetes and GI nutrition. I have a Masters degree in nutrition and am a licensed and credentialed registered dietitian. I’m experienced in addressing nutritional needs for diverse populations; specifically infants, children, prenatal and postnatal care, and lactating people. I also have experience with managing and preventing diabetes. On a personal note, I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes years ago and know too well the impact that a big health diagnosis can have on your life.
