Jenna is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist specializing in the treatment of eating disorders and disordered eating. After completing her Bachelors in psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Jenna worked in clinical research with adolescents with disordered eating at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. She then went on to pursue her Masters of Public Health in Nutritional Sciences and Dietetic Internship at the University of Michigan School of Public Health. While in school, Jenna conducted research on family feeding practices and experiences of weight stigma.
Through courses in nutrition counseling, the prevention and treatment of eating disorders, and weight bias and health, Jenna became passionate about using a weight inclusive approach. She incorporates Health at Every Size, intuitive eating, and motivational interviewing into her work to help clients improve their relationships with food and their bodies.
Jenna is located at our Arlington, VA location which is a couple blocks away from the Ballston metro. She also provides Telehealth sessions to DC residents and residents in many other states as well. When not seeing clients, Jenna enjoys trying new restaurants, spending time outdoors, reading, and playing with dogs.
