Hello - My name is Dr. Matthew Cavaiola. I am a naturopathic doctor who specializes in integrative oncology (cancer), hormonal imbalances (adrenal fatigue, thyroid, menopause, low testosterone) in both men and women and I use natural treatments for autoimmune disease, diabetes, heart disease, and low back, knee pain, shoulder pain, elbow pain, osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. I was born and raised in Auburn, California and am a 1996 graduate of Bastyr University, the leading naturopathic medical school in North America. Growing up with my dad as a local doctor inspired me to pursue medicine myself. Personal illness with questions left unanswered by western medicine led me in the direction of naturopathic medicine. I am passionate about helping people find their optimal health. I fill up my free time with my husband and 2 beautiful daughters. Together we enjoy rock-climbing, horse back riding, surfing, gardening and just being together.
