He is also an ajunct clinical faculty in Won Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He works as a clinical supervisor for graduate students of Oriental Medicine program. He is good at treatment of various disorders including pain (chronic back pain, periarthritis, herniated lumbar disc, Sciatica, headache, magrine, sports injury, etc), infertility, allergy, diabetes, obesity and so on, with the combination of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, Tuina therapeutic massage and Chinese Herbals.

Dr. Chen graduated from Nanjing Medical University with an MD degree and worked as a physician and endocrinologist in China before earning a PhD in Germany researching Graves disease and Diabetes. She also taught at the Won Institute, which offers Pennsylvania’s only Master’s degree program in acupuncture.

For over thirty five years Barry has been studying Chinese martial arts and Qi Gong with a background in fitness and an extensive knowledge of Classical Chinese Medicine which includes: Acupuncture, Herbal therapy, Tuina (Chinese Medical Massage), and nutrition.. Currently he is working on a two-year intensive Doctorate program in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine with a focus on Classical Chinese Medicine, Orthopedics, and Cancer Research.
