Dr. Minchun Chen, a licensed oriental medical practitioner certified by NCCAOM, currently practices acupuncture and herbal medicine at her private practice. She is a professor at the Won Institute, which has the only Master's Degree program for acupuncture in Pennsylvania. Dr. Chen graduated from Nanjing Medical University with an MD degree in 1982. In China, she worked as an internist and endocrinologist for 8 years. Continuing her studies in Germany, she earned a PhD (1994) exploring disease-causing genes for Graves disease and Diabetes at the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz. She learned acupuncture and herbology from national-renown doctors of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Specializing in pain management, weight loss, allergies, fibromyalgia, menopause, skin problems, infertility, sports Injuries and digestive/internal disorders.
Empowered by her unique background, Dr. Chen incorporates modern endocrinology and Traditional Chinese Medicine in creative ways to provide good health care for her patients.
