I incorporate my background in Exercise Science and Sports Medicine with my knowledge of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. This allows me to combine both Eastern and Western Medicine while giving treatments.
I have found that by combining both types of medicine, my patients present with quicker and longer lasting results.

Edward Chiu, LAc., DAOM, comes from a three generation tradition of Chinese medicine. His grandfather was an herbalist, and his father a medical doctor and acupuncturist. Dr. Chiu was trained in the US and in Asia, where he has done extensive apprenticeships with various master acupuncturists. He has been practicing for ten years and graduated from one of the first accredited doctoral programs in Chinese medicine in the United States. He is on the core faculty at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine.
