I can assist individuals trying to manage their diabetes, reach and/or maintain a healthy weight, and face disordered eating behaviors. Through personal and professional experience, I understand the difficulties needed to confront and alleviate obstacles that may be standing in your way. My goal is to help create a nutrition plan based on your nutrition status, medical condition, and personal goals.

With my previous position as adolescent dietitian for in higher levels of eating disorder care, I have a special passion for eating disorder work. I may have years of formal education under my belt, but what I will never presume to know is how you “should eat.” I love helping people find an eating pattern that suits their needs, wants, and circumstances. I practice with a Health at Every Size framework that allows you to explore your health values regardless of your body size.

I specialize in helping adults with sports/performance nutrition, mindful eating, and balanced lifestyle habits. I empower my clients to feel their best through nutrition and health habits and teach them how to fuel their bodies properly to crush their goals. I give my clients strategies and knowledge for balanced eating habits that are sustainable, where you can enjoy all of your favorite foods and still reach your goals! My coaching style as informative, positive, and supportive in a judgement-free environment. I provide my clients with ongoing support in reaching their nutrition and health goals.

I am a Non Diet/HAES Dietitian and a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor. My passion is to help people who struggle with chronic dieting and eating disorders. I help my clients develop a healthy REAL INTUITIVE relationship with food, by stopping the "food worrying" and labeling food as "good or bad" and becoming their own experts when it comes to listening to their bodies. My approach is very unique and individualized. I work with children, adolescents, college students, adults and all genders.

I was trained in Beijing Advanced Medical School and have over eighty years of acupuncture treatment experience in the US and eight years in China. Dr. Sommerville, founder of Holistic Health Rhode Island, received her degree from the New England School of Acupuncture, the oldest graduate school for the study of East Asian Medicine (EAM) in the United States. She is licensed to practice EAM in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island and earned the credential of Diplomate of Acupuncture from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

I am a Registered Dietitian and a Certified Diabetes Outpatient Educator who works with both adults and the pediatric population. I earned my bachelors of science from the University of Rhode Island, and completed by Dietetic Internship at New York University, Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein Hospital in New York City. My specialties include Diabetes, Digestive Disorders, Vegansim, and Weight Management, with a certificate of training in weight managment. My education and work experience, coupled with my passion for nutrition, has allowed me to successfully assist others in obtaining and sustaining healthy eating behaviors and balanced lifestyles.

Amber is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a Master's in Public Health. She discovered her passion when she became a mother and started merging her background in nutrition with early childhood development and mindful eating practices. She began teaching a course in Family Food & Nutrition in 2008 and has been teaching college courses while juggling motherhood ever since. Her integrative approach to health and wellness in combination with her background in nutrition and experience as a mother make her a wonderful resource. She enjoys interacting with clients to consider how best to help them reach their unique goals.

I work with clients that have diabetes, high blood pressure/cholesterol, and GI disorders. I also work with clients with eating disorders that require outpatient or intensive outpatient (IOP) level of care.
