Hi there. My name is Nicole Otto and I am a Registered Dietitian and have been supporting clients living with eating disorders since 2013. Prior to moving to Nova Scotia and opening my private practice in 2020, I worked in an intensive outpatient eating disorders service in Ontario where I helped many individuals recover from eating difficulties. I support clients virtually to untangle their relationship with food, heal from eating disorders and disordered eating and move past chronic dieting. I take a non-diet, weight inclusive approach to helping you rebuild your relationship with food. Let's untangle this together.

As an RD, CDE, I am a passionate health advocate experienced in counselling clients from all walks of life, in all phases & stages, and am equipped to support clients experiencing health, digestive or chronic disease management challenges. As the founder of The Real Deal RD and T1D Academy, my specialty includes both people with diabetes and those who help to care for them. While T1D Academy specializes in supporting newly diagnosed type 1 families and helping them to find their 'new normal', I welcome the opportunity to partner with people of all ages who are looking for nutrition, health and wellness support to reach health goals.
