Hello! I’m Leen and I am a Registered Dietitian and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist in the states of Illinois and Maryland. My interest in nutrition began in my teenage years where I struggled with my relationship with food and maintaining my health. I became passionate about the nutrition field and completed a Bachelor of Science and Nutrition at the University of Illinois at Chicago. My dietetic internship included a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings that were dedicated to counseling individuals and helping them maintain nutritional health.

I am highly skilled at helping my clients grasp nutrition concepts and develop practical skills to improve their wellbeing. To me, healthy food should be both nutritious and tasty, and I work tirelessly to ensure that eating well is always enjoyable. With my commitment to nutrition, I am constantly learning new recipes and techniques to incorporate nourishing foods into meals. My extensive experience in medical nutrition therapy has given me the expertise to assist clients dealing with chronic health issues. By working with me, individuals can be confident that I will help them achieve their health goals.

At Southern Maryland Dietitian it is understood that one diet, meal plan, or program does not fit all. That is why all services are highly individualized. There are no pre- packaged programs. Nutrition Counseling is available for children and adults. ​Our providers are in network with many insurance plans. Many of our patients have zero out of pocket costs.
