I am an eating disorder dietitian in Washington, DC who specializes in working with adults with eating disorders and truly believe full recovery is possible. I work with client's recovering from anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa (which I believe can occur at all body sizes but in some cases is referred to as Other Specified Feeding and Eating Disorder or OSFED), Orthorexia, Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), Binge Eating Disorder, body image concerns and body dysmorphia. I also love helping clients without eating disorder diagnoses break free from chronic dieting and disordered eating patterns.
My previous experience includes working at the PHP, IOP, and outpatient levels of care for eating disorders with both adults and adolescents. I am a weight-neutral RD and practice from a non-diet, all foods fit, intuitive eating, and Health at Every Size (r) approach, which I believe is crucial when restoring a client's relationship to food.
I believe that in order to heal one must feel seen and understood. I strive to meet clients with compassion exactly where they are at and provide them with tools and information they can learn to use themselves. My ultimate goal is to help guide client's towards freedom from food rules and diet culture and to heal their relationship with food and their body.
