Majority of my experience has been at the inpatient level of care, most recently serving as the Supervisor of Dietitians and Inpatient Eating Disorder Program at a behavioral health hospital. I have also worked in transitional living, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient nutrition counseling. As a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS), I work throughout the spectrum of eating disorders with all aged individuals.

I have been a dietitian for 14 years, all of which have included pediatrics to adults. I have worked at two children’s hospitals as well as outpatient settings. Diabetes has been an interest of mine since the beginning so I pursued an advanced certification as a Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. I especially enjoy working with insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors. I became a dietitian after playing sports throughout my life and becoming a runner as an adult. Heart disease runs in my family and I took a special interest in improving the food choices of those around me to improve their health.

I offer individual counseling services to anyone seeking to improve their relationship with food and their bodies. I specialize in eating disorder recovery and fat/queer liberation. I do offer services for needs outside eating disorder recovery, such as general health/wellness, digestive issues, pregnancy/fertility, diabetes, health anxiety, and chronic illness.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry/Dietetics and a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition. In my nutrition counseling sessions, I like to get to know you and your interests along with your medical history so I can tailor the plan that is just right for you! I have a compassionate approach to counseling and want to make you feel comfortable throughout our time together!

I have a Masters degree in nutrition and am a licensed and credentialed registered dietitian. I’m experienced in addressing nutritional needs for diverse populations; specifically infants, children, prenatal and postnatal care, and lactating people. I also have experience with managing and preventing diabetes. On a personal note, I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes years ago and know too well the impact that a big health diagnosis can have on your life. Through this experience, I’ve understood the importance of being in touch with your food and wellbeing, and always checking nutrition labels!

Lindsey Herr is a board-certified Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. Lindsey has years of experience working in clinical nutrition, corporate wellness and private practice. For nearly a decade, I have specialized in working with adolescents and adults with disordered eating and medical nutrition therapy. I have worked as an RD in a variety of populations including eating disorders, general nutrition therapy at hospitals, the director of nutrition at a residential treatment facility and outpatient levels of care. Carrie is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist that is passionate about working collaboratively with clients to help them make healthy and sustainable diet changes that support their lifestyle. She believes that food should not only be used to nourish the mind and body, but should be positively enjoyed as well. Carrie takes pride in her extensive experience as an outpatient dietitian. Her active listening skills and knowledge gives her the insight to work closely with clients to create their own individual path to wellness. Dana is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist certified by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed in the state of Illinois. She completed her internship at the UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial Hospital where she focused on community nutrition. Prior to her internship, she was awarded graduate student of the year while she completed her Master of Science degree in Food and Nutritional Sciences. Dana became a dietitian because she has a passion for helping others through food and lifestyle changes.
