Hello! I'm Lisa, a Registered Dietitian and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist! I am looking forward to providing you with quality and meaningful nutrition counseling. I have a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry/Dietetics and a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition. In my nutrition counseling sessions, I like to get to know you and your interests along with your medical history so I can tailor the plan that is just right for you! I have a compassionate approach to counseling and want to make you feel comfortable throughout our time together!
I love meeting new patients and after working in a hospital, research center and teaching students, I decided to follow my passion to provide nutrition education to patients! I have a daughter who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of 6 and have a lot of experience with diabetes and chronic conditions.
Every client is unique when it comes to nutrition counseling. I encourage a team approach to my sessions with clients. I like to dive in and "collect" facts about my clients, then I can develop a nutrition plan that will work with their current lifestyle and situation!
