As a Cornell-trained nutritionist, I provide a personalized, integrative approach. I've taught nutrition at the college level for 15 years and ran a health club cafe. Feeling drained dealing with chronic issues? With too many food choices and misinformation, it's easy to be confused about what to eat--that's where I come in! What can you expect from me? I can reverse or improve your low energy, high blood pressure, digestive disturbances, cardiovascular and diabetes problems and dermatological issues. I can also help you deal with food cravings, guide you through a healthy pregnancy, and help you nourish your children well.
In our sessions we may read menus, ingredient lists and identify products that may be sabotaging your efforts. You'll fill your kitchen with foods to help you--one bite at a time--heal and feel your best. Central to how I work is a “food as medicine” approach where I suggest condition-specific foods. What you put on your plate can be a life changer!`
I offer individual and small group counseling in my Dupont Circle office or virtually. I also do in-home kitchen makeovers where we'll identify products that may be interfering with good health.
