I work with individuals who are accustomed to high performance but find themselves privately exhausted by a complicated relationship with food and their bodies. If you look capable and successful on the outside while struggling with perfectionism, burnout, or a cycle of restricting and overeating, I understand the weight of that silence. In my work, I provide my clients with a coordinated and compassionate path to recovery. As well as, incorporating strategies for mental health and physical nourishment, helping you move beyond rigid rules to find lasting, evidence-based peace.

I help clients navigate eating disorder recovery, disordered eating, body image concerns, and the stress of building a healthier relationship with food. My style is warm, collaborative, and realistic—not about perfection, judgment, or rigid rules. In our first session, I want to understand what you are hoping for, where you have been, and what feels hardest right now. Whether you are actively struggling, stepping down from higher care, worried about relapse, or trying to maintain balanced eating, we move at a pace that feels supportive, clinically appropriate, and sustainable.

I specialize in weight loss, diabetes, and chronic disease management.
My ideal client is someone who’s ready for real change but feels stuck. Maybe they’ve tried diets, medications, or programs before, but nothing has worked long-term. They may be struggling with weight, newly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes or prediabetes, or managing chronic issues like high cholesterol or high blood pressure. Many are overwhelmed by conflicting nutrition advice and just want to know what to eat — and how to stick with it. What they really need is a plan that makes sense for their life — not a generic handout or fad diet. They want support from someone who listens, simplifies the process, and keeps them accountable.

My training includes Joslin Diabetes Center's Advanced Practice Program for Nutrition Professionals; Certified LEAP Therapist (CLT); CDR Certificate in Adult Weight Management; internship at Boston Children's Hospital Medical Center; and through my background in the arts, I try to utilize the potential of relating to your visual or creative intuition.
Would you like to work on weight or chronic health conditions: diabetes/pre-diabetes, metabolic syndrome, hypothyroid, fibromyalgia, arthritis, skin reactions, GERD/reflux, gout, kidney stones, migraine, or brain fog? I work with you to target inflammation and food sensitivities using Integrative Nutrition Therapy combining western and complementary approaches. This regularly results in reducing or eliminating the need for medication. It repeatedly comes down to what you eat -- or don't eat — as well as stress management and exercise. My goal is to help you enjoy better health now and to reduce the risk of long-term complications.

I’m a Registered Dietitian specialized in pediatric and family nutrition. I work with families who feel overwhelmed by conflicting nutrition advice, worried about whether their child is eating “enough” or “right,” and often running on empty themselves. Using evidence-based strategies, I help support children’s healthy growth while also improving parents’ energy, metabolic health, and overall wellbeing. My goal is to take the confusion out of nutrition and turn science into simple, realistic habits that actually fit into busy family life—so both parents and kids can feel better, eat better, and function better every day.

“ I have tried everything and nothing seems to work.” I hear this often from women who are frustrated with stubborn weight gain, fatigue, insomnia, mood swings, food cravings, or chronic digestive problems. These challenges can make every day feel like an uphill battle. I want to tell you that it doesn’t have to be this way. You are not broken. Your body is not failing you. Your body is an intelligent organism designed with an inherent ability to heal and self-regulate. You need to get to the bottom of the problem and do the work that will bring your body back to balance.

Weight Loss/Weight Management Nutritionists and Dietitians
Why is nutrition important for weight loss?
Dietitians often identify diet and exercise as the two key factors in achieving weight loss goals. To lose weight, individuals must consume fewer calories than they expend, making a supportive diet essential. Foods that are satiating, such as the healthy fats found in nuts or fish like salmon, can help keep individuals full longer and reduce overall intake. In contrast, foods high in sugar and refined carbohydrates are quickly burned by the body and can lead to excessive caloric intake. These examples highlight the importance of overall nutrition choices, beyond just calorie counting, in weight loss. Additionally, a well-balanced diet can help reduce symptoms of conditions associated with obesity or being overweight, such as high blood sugar and hypertension.

What diet is best for weight loss?
There is no single best diet for weight loss; instead, dietitians often advocate for adopting overall lifestyle changes that support sustainable weight loss rather than extreme, short-term diets. Generally, dietary changes that include more plant-based foods and those low in added sugars and saturated fats are recommended. One example of such a diet is the Mediterranean-style diet, which emphasizes whole grains, fruits, vegetables, nuts, and lean sources of animal protein. Specific dietary patterns may also be tailored to the client's underlying health conditions. For instance, individuals with hypertension or high cholesterol might benefit from the DASH diet (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension), which focuses on heart-healthy foods.

What foods should I avoid for weight loss?
When aiming for weight loss, dietitians generally advise against consuming high-calorie and highly-processed foods, such as fried foods, fatty meats, sugar-rich desserts or baked goods, refined carbohydrates like white bread, and candy. Additionally, beverages such as sodas and high-calorie coffee drinks can negatively impact weight loss goals. Instead, nutrition professionals recommend incorporating foods that contribute to satiety and overall health, including fruits and vegetables, lean proteins, healthy fats, and whole grains. Focusing on adding these nutrient-dense foods, instead of taking away certain foods, can support a healthier lifestyle and help individuals both meet their nutritional needs while also achieving their weight loss goals.

How can a dietitian help with weight loss?
Dietitians assist with weight loss by helping clients develop and implement lifestyle changes, including dietary modifications and exercise routines, that support sustained weight management. They will work with clients to create personalized weight loss plans and hold them accountable for meeting their goals. Dietitians may also address the psychological aspects of weight loss, promoting positive self-esteem and self-worth. Many encourage clients to keep a food diary or journal to track their diet and provide ongoing guidance as the client makes the recommended lifestyle changes. Additionally, dietitians may coordinate with other healthcare professionals, such as medical doctors, to address any underlying health conditions, such as diabetes.
