In our current complex food environment, full of confusing and contradicting messages, evidence-based approaches guide our work to address challenges with eating in a way that works for the individual.
My practice focus is in the treatment of eating disorders and correction of disordered eating behaviors. I utilize a variety of techniques to address the needs of the individual seeking treatme including Intuitive Eating, principles of Family-based Treatment, Satter Eating/Feeding Competence Model, Motivational Interviewing, skills and principles of CBT/DBT.
