About
I understand you might feel unsure about meeting with a dietitian, especially if you struggle with any type of eating disorder behaviors. I want you to know that you aren't alone, so many clients feel this way in the beginning. I am here to create a supportive, non-judgmental, and safe environment by first spending the time to get to know you and understand what you need on your individual journey to reach your nutritional goals. I love educating my clients on the gut-brain connection to support any co-occurring digestive issues that may be present and further complicating your journey towards making peace with food.
BS in Dietetics from ASU and I went on to complete a dual dietetic internship with a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition from Rush University. I have 10+ years in clinical settings specializing in Mental Health and GI Nutrition/Digestive Health Issues. In 2022 I received additional training to become a Certified Gastrointestinal Nutritionist.
I will work alongside you to balance the complexities that accompany your eating disorder. I value the opportunity to play such a pivotal role on this very personal and often difficult journey of healing. I promise you it is all so worth it and in time, I am confident that I will be able to help you find peace and even enjoyment in food again.
