Jennifer Rodriguez is a bilingual Registered Dietitian from Tulsa, Oklahoma. She completed her undergraduate, graduate, and dietetic internship at Oklahoma State University. As a teen, she realized the importance of education and the power of nutrition and exercise for overall health. Growing up in a traditional Mexican-Catholic household, she realized that there was very little representation of Latino healthcare providers and wanted to bridge the language barrier in healthcare for the community. Jennifer wanted to provide immigrant families the ability to make healthy choices to improve their quality of life.
With a passion for health and wellness, Jennifer works with those who struggle with weight loss, Type 2 Diabetes, and other various conditions. She also emphasizes the importance of physical activity for overall health. Jennifer believes that everyone can live a healthy life without sacrificing cultural identity and continue enjoying gastronomic traditions.
You can find her weightlifting at the gym with her father, playing Mario games on her Nintendo Switch, or curled up and reading a book with her 10-year-old Chihuahua, Harry. Jennifer also loves to cook with her mother in hopes of passing down her traditional Mexican recipes to family and friends.
