I am a registered dietitian with a board certification in Sports Nutrition. I presently see clients via a virtual telehealth platform, Healthie. I have over 25 years of experience developing Wellness programs and providing cutting-edge nutrition, fitness and wellness services to a wide variety of individuals and groups. My specialties include health promotion, weight management, sports nutrition, wellness and fitness. I have experience working with vegetarian diets, celiac disease and eating disorders. I graduated from University of Rhode Island and obtained my Master of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences from UMASS Amherst.
I am presently the Performance Dietitian for The Intrepid Spirit Center at A.T. Augusta Military Medical Center, providing Functional and Lifestyle Nutrition to active members of all branches of the military. Previously, I was the Sports Dietitian for George Mason University for 10 seasons servicing 500 Division I athletes on 22 sports teams.
I presently serve as a member of the Adjunct Faculty and as a Senior Fellow for the Center for the Advancement of Wellbeing, an interdisciplinary research and teaching center at George Mason dedicated to catalyzing human well-being. I enjoy teaching Yoga, Pilates and Barre and currently teach trauma informed Yoga classes at Sytera Yoga in Vienna, VA.
