As a Registered Dietitian, trained at The University of Virginia Health System, I have almost a decade of experience providing adults and children with clinical nutrition support and nutrition counseling. Through my private practice, I provide nutrition counseling and support to people struggling with eating disorders, disordered eating or who want to become intuitive eaters. My clients don’t fit one mold. Some step down to work with me from higher levels of eating disorder care, some are tired of being wrapped up in diet culture and food rules and others want to learn how they can begin practicing intuitive eating.
I help my clients get to the root of their fractured relationship with food. We explore the connection between nutrition and gut health, sleep hygiene, stress management and fatigue etc. I often see light bulb moments for my clients as I explain why they are likely struggling with the things they describe.
Getting to know my clients is one of my favorite parts of my work. Learning about their values and helping them take steps towards making peace with food and their body so they can live out those values is something that brings me so much joy.
