My Registered Dietitian (RD) counseling, education, and therapy are "Prevention" services covered by Insurance without meeting a Deductible. My goal is to help you avoid or manage current health conditions and overall eating challenges in order for you to feel good, find balance and live your healthiest and happiest life. Change can be overwhelming and there is no "one size fits all" solution. I am your "guide on the side" working with you in the context of "your" life and how "you" envision your personal health goals. This helps overcome barriers to make meaningful changes that will be sustainable.
We start with food! Authentic, high quality food that you like, planning and examining day-to-day eating habits, and being realistic about what "special foods" you may want to keep in your eating life. Through counseling, we examine the "why" you may be stuck in negative habits that are keeping you from moving forward toward the health and life you desire.
Many people are confused about "what" to eat and frustrated with managing their weight and health conditions. I help you sift through food and "diet" misinformation to start modifying your current eating and feel confident with specific changes.
