I am a Naturopathic physician. I graduated summa cum laude from the College of Naturopathic Medicine at the University of Bridgeport, where I received my doctorate degree. I use safe, non toxic approaches to treat the underlying cause of disease. My patients are treated as individuals and their treatment is tailored to their specific needs. I have a passion for helping others. My goal is to encourage, educate, and inspire my patients to become healthy.
I utilize a variety of research based modalities including; healthy lifestyle changes, vitamins and minerals, herbal medicine, counseling, craniosacral therapy and homeopathy.
My areas of focus are women's health, weight loss, stress management, and managing fatigue, diabetes, autoimmune diseases, and gastrointestinal disorders. I also am certified in FirstLine Therapy - a lifestyle program that promotes healthy weight and helps reverse chronic diseases such as metabolic syndrome, high blood pressure, and diabetes.
A body composition screen, unique to the Family Clinic, can be done through the use of a Bio-Impedance Analysis (BIA) machine. I use this tool to monitor weight loss and inflammation. The BIA machine analyzes body fat, water imbalances, cell integrity, and helps assess weight loss or gain.
