I received my doctorate in naturopathic medicine from The Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in 2011. Studying at BINM provided me with the opportunity to be exposed to a variety of specialty treatments, including the use of ozone, prolotherapy and IV therapies. In addition, I had the privilege of receiving formal medical training in oncology by Dr. Neil McKinney, one of the leading naturopathic doctors in naturopathic oncology. In 2012, I joined Synergy Natural Medicine Clinic in Monrovia, CA, to become a specialist in naturopathic oncology. In March, 2016, I redesigned a small clinic and we have been growing ever since!

She uses Ozone therapy, Platelet Rich Plasma or prolotherapy to regenerate damaged soft tissue and cartilage.
Ozone injections or Rich plasma (PRP) helps to regenerate joints, cartilage, torn ligaments without surgery. Tissue repair is stimulated by reducing inflammation while simultaneously bringing to the area healing cells and nutrients. Joint injections are done under ultrasound guidance as necessary. IV therapies are offered for various health concerns.

Ozone Therapy Naturopaths
What is ozone therapy?
Ozone therapy is an alternative medical approach in which ozone—a gas composed of three oxygen molecules—is used to treat conditions such as infections, chronic pain, diabetes, and various immune-related disorders. This therapy is based on the belief that the stress induced by ozone injection activates the body’s natural immune responses and repair mechanisms. Ozone may be injected directly into body tissues, such as an infected area, or administered intravenously, allowing it to enter the bloodstream. Current research on ozone therapy remains inconclusive, and the FDA has issued warnings regarding its toxicity and the lack of evidence supporting its efficacy as a medical treatment. Further, ozone is widely recognized as an air pollutant, posing significant risks, particularly to individuals with respiratory conditions like asthma.
