Over 23 yrs of practice has taught me how to treat many different, complex health issues. I specialized in Women's Health and Infertility for many years & provided on-site acupuncture for IVF patients the day of their embryo transfers. I practiced in Los Angeles, Santa Monica & Beverly Hills for 15 yrs before moving to Portland in 2016. Dr. Lu was one of the few acupuncturists in the United States who was not only a MD in China, but also had an additional 6 years specialty training with highest medical degree. Dr. Lu earned his doctoral degree in internal medicine from the Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in China. He also holds bachelor and master degrees in orthopedics and traumatology and worked as orthopedic surgeon and acupuncturist in China. Currently, Dr. Lu is the Chair of AOM at the doctoral studies at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine and clinical assistant professor at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU)

While seeing a variety of nutrition concerns, she specializes in helping patients in eating disorder recovery and seeks to promote a safe space to pursue a new healthy relationship with food. Jenna uses a patient-centered approach to working with clients, prioritizing patient goals for their health journey. With disordered eating, she uses an intuitive eating framework of counseling in addition to family based therapy to promote a safe and effective environment for healing.

Most recently, she has studied in the Sports Medicine Acupuncture Certification program, the most comprehensive orthopedic post-graduate program available to acupuncturists.
