My name is Kristen Nyampong, and I’m a Registered Dietitian based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. I take a person-centered, trauma-informed, and weight-inclusive approach to care. I’m especially passionate about working with individuals in the BIPOC community and those who are vegan, vegetarian, or plant-forward.
I specialize in helping individuals rebuild a more positive, trusting relationship with their body, especially those who have experienced chronic dieting, disordered eating, or eating disorders. My approach focuses on developing attunement with the body (when it feels safe to do so) and moving toward a more neutral, less stressful relationship with food.
I have experience supporting individuals with eating disorders and disordered eating in PHP and IOP settings, where I helped clients reconnect with hunger and fullness cues and rebuild trust with their bodies through intuitive eating. I also work with individuals with diabetes and prediabetes, focusing on improving A1C through a non-restrictive approach.
