Karen is a New York State licensed, nationally certified Five Element acupuncturist. Karen earned a Master of Acupuncture degree from Tai Sophia Institute in Maryland. As the first accredited acupuncture program in the United States, Tai Sophia's program combines rigorous classroom teaching with rich clinical experiences. As a result, Karen has a strong theoretical and philosophical foundation of how to treat each patient with skill, compassion and care.
