My primary passion is working with women who have experienced trauma which bookmarks their life with a “before” and “after.” The trauma becomes both their story and identity and keeps them feeling stuck and powerless to move forward. Women often learn early in life to focus their time, energy and resources on the well-being and comfort of others. As a result, they minimize or altogether ignore their own physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs and desires. Using a variety of therapeutic modalities, I assist women to reclaim your power to and begin steering your life in the direction of fulfillment and success.

I practice an intuitive art form rooted in scientific knowledge. Traditional medicine does not specialize in treating the myofascial restrictions that may be involved in chronic pain conditions or structural dysfunction. The tried and true techniques of deep tissue massage and myofascial release aim to restore the normal functioning of fascia by breaking up the glue that binds these adhesions. I do this by applying slow, sustained pressure, gradually working up to the threshold of what you can tolerate.

My original intention with my massage practice was to help restore people to peace and wholeness, to come back to the heart of serenity. Naturally, as I encountered muscle groups resistant to release, I delved deeper into neuromuscular studies and training to assist in the restoration of healthy movement and reduction of pain. I enjoy working with people to achieve these ends. I employ Neuromuscular techniques, osteopathic based myofascial release, Swedish Massage, specific stretching modalities, Breath work and Reiki. I'm an approved provider for several insurance providers and I am available for Personal Injury billings as well.

NOTE: our office is currently closed due to to COVID-19. After getting whiplash in 2012, I sought care through massage, accupuncture, and chiropractic. These experiences sparked a deep interest in studying the body to learn how pain and healing work. In 2016 I attended Yoga Teacher Training where I began to study the body more deeply. Still wanting to know more, I attended East West College in 2018 to become an LMT. I love working with clients who are interested in experiencing and understanding their bodies in a new way. Your body is your home. You deserve to feel more relaxed, embodied, and balanced.

I enjoy working with clients who are coming to explore the benefits of massage for the first time or for ongoing, treatment-based therapeutic work. Each session is crafted to an individual client’s needs, including relaxation, pain relief, and injury recovery. Many request deep work, but I am also intrigued and delighted with quiet, gentle, and slower work.
