I deal with patients suffering from muscular skeletal (joint) pain, from stress, from low energy levels-sometimes to the point where they have trouble making it through the day, from all the many, many problems that accompany an imbalance in internal energy, and, first and foremost, I care for patients who find themselves unable to make an appreciable improvement in their lives through typical Western treatment methods.

Many patients are surprised (and some are relieved!) to know that I specialize in acupuncture without needles. Instead of needles, I use AcuLaser (laser light) to stimulate acupuncture points. Patients find these treatments to be relaxing and effective. Meanwhile, a growing body of clinical and scientific evidence is validating this modern modality when used in the context of the acupuncture meridian system, a framework developed thousands of years ago.

I also use various forms of Applied Kinesiology including Nutrition Response Testing.sm to identify underlying imbalances and environmental stressors. Dr. Ren is a NYS Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist who has over 40 years experience. She was a professor in one of the university of traditional Chinese medicine in China. She came American 30 years ago. Licensed in New York State acupuncturist. She is also e health scientist in NYU. She has much experience to treat the patient with infertility. Dr. Zhou is a licensed acupuncturist and neuroscientist, he received his MD from China and obtained his PhD in neuroscience from Japan. He had his resident training in Acupuncture, Orthopedics surgery and Neurology in China, he did postdoctoral research at the the Uni. of Texas. Dr. Zhou has worked in the field of brain research at New York Medical College, the Uni. of Pittsburgh, Columbia Uni, and Weill Cornell Medical College. His research interest is synaptic mechanisms, therapeutic solutions for neurologic diseases, pain, memory, and learning, possesses a strong publication record. Trilingual in English, Japanese and Mandarin.

Dr. Victoria Zhong is a New York State Licensed acupuncturist and a licensed cosmetologist with years of experience and expertise in both acupuncture and facial acupuncture. She earned her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health Sciences. Dr. Zhong Specializes in musculoskeletal pain, headaches, migraine, insomnia, carpal tunnel syndrome, neck pain, stroke, Bell’s palsy, back and sciatica pain, foot pain, plantar fasciitis, arthritis, sports injuries, stress, nervousness, anxiety, depression and auto-immune system disease.
