I have an extensive professional medical background in both Western Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine. I provide complete holistic care including acupuncture, custom herbal medicine, nutrition therapy, moxibustion, Guasha, cupping, and massage therapy. I studied Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in China and received my MD in 1993. I am a licensed Associate Chief Physician of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China. During my 17 years of practice at the First Teaching Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which is also the National Acupuncture Clinical Research Center of China. I participated in numerous research projects for treating stroke, paralysis, acute and chronic pain, dementia, prostatitis and insomnia with acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine.

Dr.Frank Zhao is an Acupuncture expert who has been practicing for over 40 years. He graduated from Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and obtained his MD in TCM in 1984. He obtained his MD & Ph.D. in Neurology and Neurologic Science from Tokyo Medical and Dental University. He was the director of the Acupuncture Dept. in China, a Research Fellow in the field of Herb and Acupuncture at Harvard Medical School. He is Vice Chairman of the World Manipulative Medical Association, Professor of New York College of Health Professions, Board Member of United Alliance of NYS Licensed Acupuncturists.

I am moved by each person's path to open to their own healing. It is a great privilege to act as facilitator, co-explorer, witness and partner in this endeavor. Using various schools and methods of acupuncture and its related practices (diagnosis via the senses, touch, moxibustion, cupping, guasha, plum blossom, essential oils, crystals, magnets) we arrive at an understanding of the body-mind pattern and its treatment. I often prescribe Chinese herbs to address acute and chronic patterns. Modalities are selected based on your sensitivities and needs, as well as the levels we choose to address in treatment.

Hello, My name is Yoonyoung and I am a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. Acupuncture is based on the idea that a patient’s pain or illness is caused by interruption to the flow of Qi (one’s life energy) in the body. Acupuncture identifies the specific points on the body that corresponds to the condition (acupuncture points) and uses special needles to stimulate those points so that the patient can regain the healthy flow of Qi. Yan Yan Yu, LAc graduated from Liao Ning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1982 and practiced at Acupuncture at Liao Ning University Hospital of Traditional Medicine before moving to the United States. She has over 40 years of experience in treating patients with internal medicine, OB/GYN, infertility, to pain management aliments, and specializes in Acupuncture, herbal medicine, moxibustion, and cupping techniques.

Alex Leyberman graduated from the Oriental Medicine Program of Touro College. Touro is a comprehensive 5 year clinical master's program that stands as the only fully-accredited Graduate Oriental Medicine Program in the state of New York. He gained valuable experience at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, where he interned in the Labor & Delivery, Oncology, and Rehabilitation departments. At Lincoln Hospital, Alex worked exclusively at the Recovery Center with drug addicts fighting addiction and became NADA trained in the use of acupuncture in substance abuse. Currently Alex is working alongside a Medical Doctor treating adults with various medical conditions.

Approximately 20 year ago, he originally was a MD and Surgeon in China. In addition to the Master Degree he obtained from the New York College of Health Professions, New York, US, Dr. Wang, Ling also graduated from the Capital Medical University, Beijing, China in 1996 and became an Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine Physician who diagnoses and treats patients in not only western style, but TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) genre.

I treat all conditions through the modalities that I am familiar with. I have been practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)-- including Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology -- for 25 years.
