Hello, My name is Yoonyoung and I am a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. Acupuncture is based on the idea that a patient’s pain or illness is caused by interruption to the flow of Qi (one’s life energy) in the body. Acupuncture identifies the specific points on the body that corresponds to the condition (acupuncture points) and uses special needles to stimulate those points so that the patient can regain the healthy flow of Qi. As a Chinese medicine practitioner, I view any illness in the context of the whole person. My treatment goes beyond the obvious symptom to the root cause of the illness.
I am certified in Oncology Acupuncture Program and also had special training in Facial Rejuvenation and Micro-Needling Acupuncture. I also use Acugraph as part of my practice which can graphically display the patient’s energetic status of acupuncture meridians. Based on the report, we can plan for further treatment to achieve long-term health together.
I recommend acupuncture treatment if you are suffering from any kinds of pain, anxiety, GI disorders, and so on. Acupuncture can help you to relieve all these symptoms because Chinese Medicine treats the person and not just the surface disease.
