Experience healing in a whole new light. Imagine being met with presence, treated with care and respect and being guided to wholeness, all the while noticing that week by week, you start to feel better. As symptoms disappear, you feel more vital, clear and your desire to actively participate and engage in life increases. This describes the experience of many patients of New Dawn Healing Arts. This is why they continue to refer their mothers, sisters, husbands, bosses and best friends.

My diverse training emphasizing acupuncture and encompassing other modalities, allows me to asses your needs and symptoms and create individualized treatments by combining my knowledge of nutrition, mental health, Chinese Medicine, and Somatic Movement Therapy. I remain a student and am continuously learning new ways for people to achieve self-mastery through healthy sustainable habits. I began my career in the mental health field as a health educator, where I worked for 17 years. In 1993 I received a breast cancer diagnosis and became interested in complementary modalities, including how to use food to heal myself and others.

I treat each patient as an individual, working with symptoms while balancing the body's energies to find a new healthy normal state. I find that with this kind of medicine, many issues resolve on the physical and emotional level. Most of my patients come in with pain syndromes, emotional issues, female health, infertility, digestive issues, and chronic illness. For chronic problems I often use herbs to support the treatment. I also use Chinese medical massage, positional therapy, and Reiki

I help you feel like yourself again by balancing the energies in your body that are causing you disharmony. I use your choice of Acupuncture, Energy Medicne or a blend of both. I find combining modalities is helpful to move the energy and relieve pain more effectively than one modality on its own. I have a general practice and welcome inquiries about all conditions. I especially find working with emotional disharmonies and supportive cancer care very satisfying.

Acupuncture in Lenox - is it right for me?
Acupuncture is based on the concepts of oriental medicine or traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and is one of the oldest healing practices in the world. Lenox acupuncturists are health care professionals who evaluate and treat the many conditions, aches and pains that respond to acupuncture.

Acupuncturists insert very fine acupuncture needles into the body. The purpose of the needles is to stimulate acupuncture points or meridians. The needles do not inject any substance into your body and are so fine as to be virtually impossible to feel. In some cases, acupuncture may be accompanied by electrical stimulation or the burning of moxa, a form of heat therapy. Or use acupressure, where physical pressure is applied by hand or elbow to trigger points with the aim of clearing blockages in these meridians.

'Accupuncture' and 'Accupuncturist' are common mis-spellings.
Credentials for Lenox licensed acupuncturists?

The three year program includes both theory and hands-on clinical practice.
