My ideal patient is one who is willing to be a co creator in their health process. I specialize in digestive disorders, immune issues, pain, hormonal issues and fatigue. I treat all ages. I use acupuncture, Chinese herbs, Ayurvedic dietary and lifestyle recommendations and muscle response testing to identify core imbalances as well as herbal and nutritional recommendations. As an acupuncturist and hypnotherapist, my goal is to act as a catalyst for positive change in every patient. I specialize in a unique treatment that I refer to as "hypnoacupuncture," which is a combination of acupuncture and hypnotherapy. These sessions treat on all levels: physical, mental, and emotional.

I am a Licensed Acupuncturist with a Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree from the New England School of Acupuncture. Most patients I see have some type of pain, lower back, sciatic, tennis elbow, arthritis just to name a few. I also am certified by Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York for the treatment of cancer patients using acupuncture. I am in my 25th year as a licensed Acupuncturist. I see many patients with pain and orthopedic related problems as well as chronic and debilitating illnesses such as cancer, MS, irritable bowel, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, arthritis, and mental health issues. I am also on staff at the MGH Cancer Center. While I do not treat cancer directly, I work to help with immune support and stress reduction, to support the whole person in body and mind as they go through cancer treatment. In addition to acupuncture, I work with my hands sometimes using Tuina chinese massage or Specialized Stretching (AIS).

I use the simple tenets of acupuncture to increase circulation, decrease inflammation and calm the nervous system. That takes care of physical pain and stress which can upset digestion, sleep and even a woman's cycle. This helps patients by teaching their bodies how to help themselves.

Acupuncture is fundamentally about two things: stimulating movement and balance of body and mind, and, just as important, enabling people to be in positive communication with themselves. My mission is not just to help alleviate pain and other ailments, but to help clients move forward with a new, healthier perspective. I approach my work from a place of stillness and respect, having practiced meditation, qigong and yoga for many years. I am an acupuncturist trained in China with over 27 years of clinical experience. I received my training in acupuncture and herbal medicine from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. I received my PhD in neuroscience in US, did my post-doctorate training at Harvard/MGH and taught Acupuncture for over 20 years in Boston. I accumulated a lot of experience in treating acid reflux, Acne, AF, allergies, anxiety, excessive sweating, facial wrinkles, arthritis, asthma, back pain, bursitis, Knee pain, anxiety, colitis, cystitis, Depression, Diabetes, tinnitus, Eczema, and erectile dysfunction with acupuncture and Chinese herbs.
