I use the simple tenets of acupuncture to increase circulation, decrease inflammation and calm the nervous system. That takes care of physical pain and stress which can upset digestion, sleep and even a woman's cycle. This helps patients by teaching their bodies how to help themselves.
I don't believe in acupuncturists specializing. I've had equal success treating chronic illness, acute trauma, infertility, addiction, allergies, sports injuries, and the side effects of cancer treatment. Talking with a patient, you can trace a symptom back to a root cause, and that's what you treat.
The more relaxed you are during an acupuncture treatment, the better that treatment takes hold. Therefore, I emphasize gentleness and comfort. If you feel better faster, you also spend less money.
