My name is Xin. I am the founder of Pei Gen Health and Advanced Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture. You may wonder what is the VITAL FORCE that keeps us alive. We call it 'Qi" (气). Balanced, unimpeded flow of Qi is critical to sound health. Any misdirection, blockage, or other derangement of the amount may result in pain, dysfunction, and ill health. With acupuncture, Chinese Herbs, and other means, like Tuina, Guasha, and Cupping/Hijamah, we help restore the normal balance and flow of Qi, so your body will get enough blood supply, and can thus function normally for you.

An ideal client is someone who is interested in taking a proactive role in his/her own health. He/she is looking for a healthy, natural approach to true healing, and not a quick fix or temporary bandaid. In addition, he/she is committed to getting better and staying healthy.

I believe we have the ability to cause ourselves to function in a state of well being, or in a state of illness. I believe all aliments have a holistic component creating a need for a holistic approach to well being. My goal in treating patients is to help them return to a state of well being using an individualized holistic and integrative approach to wellness. I believe in treating all patients, especially children, in the least invasive and most effective way possible.

I am a Level 3 graduate of the Neuro-Acupuncture Institute and I specialize in Neuro-Acupuncture. Neuro-Acupuncture is a marriage of time-tested tradition and space-age science. It integrates Acupuncture with knowledge of brain and nervous systems functioning. It is safe, non-invasive and creates good results. An effective therapy for stroke rehabilitation, Neuro-Acupuncture helps many other problems, including Essential Tremor, Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Traumatic Brain Injury, Migraines, Anxiety, Loss of Taste and Smell, Aphasia, and Complex Regional Pain. I have treated all these problems with good results.

Dr. Luo brings to her practice of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) years of experience in both China and the United States. Luo’s years as a teacher and practitioner in hospitals, specialized clinics and private practice enable her to blend a compassionate understanding of patient needs with a balanced and sensible vision of health and healing through acupuncture and TCM. Dr. Luo is a frequent lecturer to physicians and acupuncturists. She gained national attention for successfully bringing a Lupus patient into remission, as reported by the U.S. News and World Report.

Dr. Xie (Dr. J) is a national board certified acupuncturist and herbalist (NCCAOM Diplomate of Oriental Medicine). Dr. J is a licensed acupuncturist in Illinois and Wisconsin. He practiced traditional and conventional medicine in China from 1985 to 2005 as a physician and professor at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. He has practiced acupuncture in USA since 2005. He currently is a Professor and a clinical supervisor at the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine. His training includes 5 years of medical school, 3 years of residency, 7 years of postgraduate training in traditional and conventional medicine.

For over 20 years, Sonia has worked in the field of holistic healing as a student and practitioner and has been devoted to bringing her nurturing and compassionate support to all her patients, adults, teens and children, guiding them towards health and wellness. Sonia is an Acupuncturist and also certified in Alchemical Healing, Advanced cupping therapy, foot reflexology, Reiki master under the lineage of Grandmaster Takata, and Flower essence therapy.

Dr. Hu, CMD, DAOM, Licensed Chief Chinese Medicine Doctor in China and Licensed Acupuncturist in USA, was also certified by National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in USA. Dr. Hu has about 30 years of experience in authentic Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture & Herbal tea customization; she studied Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine -one of the four earliest established TCM universities in China. She also obtained doctor degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in USA.

Strength of acupuncture stimulation should be considered carefully for each patient. Regardless of pain nature, acupuncture is an excellent modality for pain relief and management. I have practiced acupuncture over 26 years and taught the students at the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago for 5 years. I have been the health advisor for various live radio health programs for Seoul Radio Broadcasting and KBI Radio Station in Chicago for 9 years.
