Dr. Xie (Dr. J) is a national board certified acupuncturist and herbalist (NCCAOM Diplomate of Oriental Medicine). Dr. J is a licensed acupuncturist in Illinois and Wisconsin. He practiced traditional and conventional medicine in China from 1985 to 2005 as a physician and professor at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. He has practiced acupuncture in USA since 2005. He currently is a Professor and a clinical supervisor at the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine. His training includes 5 years of medical school, 3 years of residency, 7 years of postgraduate training in traditional and conventional medicine.

Practicing since 1996. I take an integrated holistic approach to health and healing—treating the WHOLE PERSON, by incorporating Chinese systems, body-centered methods, structural bodywork, and dietary/nutritional education. I specialize in auto-immune problems, skin conditions, musculoskeletal, digestive issue and psychological-emotional health. I am a master-level yoga and meditation teacher, 40 years’ experience in yoga and qi gong. Author of Medium-Raw: Transitioning to an Optimal Health Diet.
