Nicole Coughlin Ware is a Georgia native. She attended Vanderbilt University where she studied Psychology and Biology. After a stint in corporate America Nicole retuned to her original passion of health and medicine attending AIMC Berkeley CA. and received her Master's Oriental Medicine. She saw patients at the West Berkeley Clinic and AIMC's Community clinic and treated a wide variety of health related issues such as headaches, stress, insomnia, digestive complaints, and chronic aliments that did not respond to traditional medicine. Earning her California acupuncture and herbal license and NCCAOM degree she began her own practice in San Francisco.

Graduated from Chengdu Traditional Chinese Medical University (1984), Dr. Wu was one of few selected graduates who went to work at the most prestigious Acupuncture Institute at China Academy of TCM in Beijing. Has also a Nutrition degree from Life University (1995). Featured on CNN(1996), Atlanta Woman Magazine (2004), as well as numerous local radios and community events.
