My goal is to see and understand the issues of an individual patient as a whole including mind, body and spirit. I will try my best to tackle and address each issue to the best of my knowledge, experiences and expertise. I have been practicing Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine for over 20 years along side as a Research Scientist for over 25 years in R&D for drug discovery as well as in clinical research for multiple pharmaceutical companies . I was also exposed to alternative medicine at a very young age being a son of a medicine man of the town and a midwife and healer in Cambodia.
My parents only used herbs and other natural healing methods to treat ailing people. I was able to see and experience the power of alternative medicine and had the opportunity to learn some of the art from my parents. When I came to the US, I was driven to help people in as many ways as possible so I started on the journey with science.
I earned a BS in Biology (premed) from Cabrini University and started working in a small biotech company while pursuing graduate school in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Texas Health and Science University for MSOM degree and earned a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree from American Academy of Health and Wellness in Minnesota.
