Prevention of disease and promotion of health are becoming more popular with general public as the cost of medicine and the rate of degenerative disease are going through the roof. More and more people move away from treating symptoms by means of toxic chemicals and move towards natural, powerful, health promoting modalities that not only treat symptom but also address the root of the problem. Acupuncture is at the forefront of this change in medicine. My goal and passion is to provide these safe alternatives to my patients, a lot of whom have not found answers in traditional medicine.

Many people desire to live a healthier lifestyle by eating right and exercising. Although most people know which foods are healthy and which foods are unhealthy, there are certain types of food that affect different people in different ways. Everyone has a different body type, so some foods will benefit you more than others. For example, everyone knows that brown rice is a healthy food staple; but depending on your body type, brown rice might not be the healthiest option for you. Through my 8-body acupuncture, I will find out what your body type is.

Acupuncture in Ventura - is it right for me?
Acupuncture is based on the concepts of oriental medicine or traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and is one of the oldest healing practices in the world. Ventura acupuncturists are health care professionals who evaluate and treat the many conditions, aches and pains that respond to acupuncture.
Acupuncturists insert very fine acupuncture needles into the body. The purpose of the needles is to stimulate acupuncture points or meridians. The needles do not inject any substance into your body and are so fine as to be virtually impossible to feel. In some cases, acupuncture may be accompanied by electrical stimulation or the burning of moxa, a form of heat therapy. Or use acupressure, where physical pressure is applied by hand or elbow to trigger points with the aim of clearing blockages in these meridians.
'Accupuncture' and 'Accupuncturist' are common mis-spellings.
