I maintained an acupuncture practice for 10 years in a community health center affiliated with Bastyr University in Kent, WA I am a graduate of the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago and board certified in acupuncture (NCCAOM) since 1988. Also I practiced in Chicago in a rheumatology practice, along side with EMG specialists, Internal medicine doctors
As an acupuncturist, I treat a lot of different pain conditions - backs, shoulders,necks, knees, migraine/headaches. I also have strategies to deal with any kind of allergies, mood disorders - including anxiety and depression - diet and weight issues, tobacco, alcohol & drug addictions. I also treat fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, insomnia.
Trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) I developed over the years a more comfortable approach with Japanese needling, applying a more superficial insertion with very thin needles Chinese style tends to use thicker needles with deeper insertion. No pain all gain!
