He co-founded the American Academy of Oriental Medicine Family Practice, A.A.O.M.F.P. and is author of several articles and books on Oriental Medical procedures, including bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, acupuncture point injection and intravenous nutritional therapy. He was the first "Doctor of Oriental Medicine", O.M.D. to attend The American Board of Clinical Metal Toxicology A.B.C.M.T. seminars and sit for the written exam.
